01
Beyond an object, installing a universe. Accessible to all, without compromise.

WebGL is a graphics technology that runs directly in the browser, without downloading, without plugins. It enables real-time interactive 3D scene rendering on any connected device, with just a few seconds of loading. At Lore & Lumière, we combine it with iJewel, a specialized library designed for rendering precious materials: metals, stones, enamels, guilloché. Together, they allow us to install not simply an object to contemplate, but a universe to explore, with visual fidelity that rivals film rendering standards.
02
An experience for everyone, calibrated for each

One of the most demanding challenges of WebGL is accessibility without compromise. How do you offer a quality immersive and exploratory experience on an entry-level phone, while delivering something exceptional on the latest mobile models or on PC? At Lore & Lumière, the answer lies in the pipeline: each experience is designed with adaptive precision levels, calibrated in real time according to the device’s power. The viewer does not choose their quality level. They simply receive the best of what their screen can offer.

Lore & Lumière Expertise

Exploring a piece on the web is not experienced the same way as on a tablet. On smartphone or PC, scrolling is at the heart of the experience—it is the primary narrative gesture. The codes of discovery are not the same, nor are the rhythms. Lore & Lumière masters this grammar specific to each medium, building interactive narratives designed for each discovery context. Our pipeline also ensures seamless compatibility with our Unreal Engine productions: what is designed for high-end directly feeds the web experience, without breaking artistic vision. A challenge we have met on several projects, of which the Serana Watch experience is the most accomplished demonstration.
