What Lore & Lumière has built
Lore & Lumière utilized an existing Paris asset, to which we integrated our in-house asset library to transform it into an inhabited territory. Third-person exploration places visitors behind their avatar, offering them an awareness of their own movement in space—a physical presence in the world they traverse, quite different from the more distant, colder first-person subjective view. This point of view changes everything: you no longer just fly over Paris, you journey through it. Populating the streets, opening unprecedented access points, installing teleporters to areas with diverse experiences, calibrating every viewpoint so that it tells a story: a work of appropriation as much as technique, taking an existing world and imbuing it with a soul.
